Talking Stick is a trusted destination for Indigenous peer support and community safety.

Feeling stressed, anxious, or alone? Connect one-on-one with one of our peers for culturally safe listening and emotional support, 24/7. Need to open up about something you can’t share with friends or family? Talking Stick is always anonymous and judgement-free.

Peers are not crisis counsellors or mental health professionals. They are Indigenous people from communities all over the province who are trained to listen with compassion and provide understanding and support.

Your anonymity matters. With Talking Stick, you will never need to share your name or any personal information. Every chat is confidential and is automatically and permanently deleted as soon as it ends.

It’s your choice. Choose your language, and then choose one of our Indigenous peers to chat with.

It’s your voice. In Talking Stick, you can chat anonymously about anything you want. Feeling heard and understood by someone who shares your culture and lived experiences can make a world of difference.

NEW! Talking Stick app includes FirstAlerts, an emergency alert system for First Nations and Indigenous regions in Saskatchewan -- now with notifications that alert you even when your device is in silent mode! To learn more, go to my.talkingstick.app.
